Warranty And Returns

90 Day MedicAlert Warranty

All MedicAlert IDs, chains and attachments are warrantied against defects in material or workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. We strongly advise that you carefully inspect your purchase for defects or errors immediately upon receipt.

MedicAlert warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear; including tarnishing of non-coated silver and  scratches or dents to the emblem, chain, or attachments.
  • Changes to information engraved on the ID.
  • Damage resulting from misuse, accidental handling, or exposure to corrosive substances.
  • Loss of any kind, including accidental loss or theft.
  • Repairs made by anyone other than MedicAlert’s skilled jewelry team.

Returns & Refunds

  • Engraved and QR code medical IDs are personalized for you. All medical IDs are custom produced, individually sized, and therefore are not eligible for returns or refunds.
  • All other non-engraved and non-personalized products are accepted for refund or exchange, if returned in saleable condition within 90 days of the purchase date.
  • Please note that shipping and handling fees are not eligible for refund.

Resizing & Repairs

  • Before you order, be sure to use our Bracelet Sizing Guide to find the right size for you.
  • Resizing and repair services are available for certain products such as Chain Link bracelets.
  • Resizing and repair services are not available for certain products such as Stretch Band Bracelets; Sports Bands and Silicone Bracelets; Leather Bracelets; Sleek, Twin Heart, Modern, Esquire, and Lynx Bracelets; Necklace Chains.
  • Fees apply to resize and repair eligible products. For inquiries and to determine if your product can be resized or repaired, contact us here or call 1-800-432-5378.
  • Please note that discontinued products may be replaced with a comparable product.

Returning Merchandise for Refund or Repair

  • The sender is responsible for shipping the product to MedicAlert for return or repair.
  • How to return merchandise for refund or repair:
    • First, contact Member Services at 1-800-432-5378 or by email for authorization of your return or repair.
    • Enclose your product In a padded envelope. We strongly suggest insuring your package. MedicAlert is not responsible for items lost in transit.

    • Please allow 4 – 6 weeks for resizing or repairs after you’ve mailed your merchandise.
